2. General information

This website provides information about my research, teaching and professional practice. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used. Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to operate the website and respond to enquiries.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files (including IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). This data ensures reliable and secure operation of the website and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are routinely deleted in line with the hosting provider's retention rules.

4. Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, subject, message) is processed solely to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to (pre-)contractual cooperation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply. It is not shared with third parties.

5. Cookies and language preference

This website sets a single functional cookie ("sdp_language") that stores your chosen language version (German/English). It is used solely for convenience. Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No tracking or marketing cookies are used.

6. Reach measurement

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). Processing takes place solely on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. Data may be transferred to third countries, in particular the USA.

7. Fonts (Google Fonts)

For consistent presentation, fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to servers operated by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), transmitting your IP address; transfers to third countries (USA) cannot be excluded.
